Two thoughts:

1) It implies that while the rest of humanity is having some trouble dealing with their newfound knowledge and power, the driver is doing just fine. If not, shouldn’t it say something like “It’s become appallingly clear that *my* technology has surpassed my humanity- watch out when I’m on the road with this beast-rendering speed machine!”

2) It implies that this is some sort of new phenomenon, when we fell from our idyllic past and invented machine guns and atomic bombs. I imagine that our technology surpassed our humanity sometime around the discovery of fire and sharp rocks; if, that is, we imagine that our humanity is kind and compassionate. If, instead, we think of our humanity as sinful, violent and often malicious- well, I’d say humanity is doing a wonderful job of keeping up with the times.

Im feeling nostalgic today...wounder why?

All started like 1 year and something ago, i was administrator in a Metal site called : Nemsis, and ...i was drunk (as always), and standing like a rock in my beliefs...

After some issues in some sites i thought to myself :"It is time we come out and show to the world who we are and what we stand for"...

Well, i said i was drunk, didnt i? haha

Well...yahoo, talking to EnlightenedDarkness....and i asked her : "What do you thing about opening a site for us?", "bla...bla...bla"

-"Oh, awesome...." typical from ED...short answers and alot of positive energy....well, at least sometimes....hahaha

It started....i remember spending over USD 200, but hey....it was for a huge reason and for our beliefs...

Paid out (only by me, even then i knew that sucking Premium Memberships are a growing bussiness), and domain open....what to do?

Several months coding, adding scripts, deleting everything....haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, i worked on the site for almost 1 year, 8 to 16 hours/day...it was my baby....hehe

Official opening....August 2006...i was so happy that, that day i grab 20 member in 1 hour...hahahaha

Then....it started to give some "flowers"...the greatest minds i saw from that time...

EnlightnedDarkness : My confident....she knows me as good as i do...no need to add anything else...Rock on Girl...

Ahriman : A stone of reality, maybe my bigest wall...it hold me and my thoughts for long time.

Anahita : Sweet lady...a true amazing friend....i hold her close to my heart...(btw...she fucks your head when she is right and you`re not).

Tecver : Fucking insane dude...Graphics genious....what would be of us without his energy....the guy is insane and period...a huge friend, BEEEEEEEEEER...

MidnightAngel : Great people she brought to the site...a well holded sould...

QueenofChaos : Sweet...she is that kind of friend, that speaks so smoothly, you will be forced to surrender...hot body...haha

Well...after some time, because of me trying to rush stuff, or because my members inactivity, it started to fall apart....and it reached to its end....

After some time, re-opened again 3 times, closed again....Till we reached this day...

I know also now some great persons, (due to the numbers of sites out there i wasnt expecting) capable of doing insane things, and giving their time to help out....HAILS for you my friends...

Well, a very resumed explanation of what we Were, We are, and...who knows what we Will be....
